At the heart of Vilamoura is the marina, packed with glamorous boats, making it a pleasure to stroll around day or night. There are daily boat trips departing from the marina, as well as numerous deep-sea fishing expeditions. The Roman Ruins in Cerro da Vila, nearby the marina, are one of the most ancient and interesting sites in the Algarve.
