Sun, Beach and Sea

Falésia Beach is ideal to spend a day on the beach and for exhilarating walks along miles of fine golden sands, with its red cliffs as a backdrop. Vilamoura Beach is also a good alternative for a day in the sun and bathing.

Marina

The enormous marina is the place indicated to stroll around and view some of the fantastic boats moored there.
There are daily sightseeing coastal boat trips departing from the marina, as well as numerous deep-sea fishing expeditions.
The Roman Ruins in Cerro da Vila, close to the marina, is one of the most ancient and interesting sites in the Algarve.

Sports

There is five golf courses in Vilamoura: the Old Course, the Pinhal, the Laguna, the Millennium and the most recent Victoria. Each of them has different challenges to overcome.
Apart from golf, there is also the tennis club, mini-golf and the riding centre amongst other sports activities on offer.

Shopping

There is an enormous variety of shops in Vilamoura, mainly in the marina and surrounding areas. You can find everything, from supermarkets to shops for clothing, watches and sun glasses, as well as the many souvenir shops. The weekly market day in Quarteira is also a worthwhile visit.
